About Yuko
I was born and grew up in Japan and have lived in the US and Australia for 15 years of my life. Currently I am living in Australia and teaching Japanese to children. I have worked as a translator and interpreter for 9 years in Japan and completed a General Japanese Teacher Training Course. I am happy to teach Japanese in English as well. I have been living overseas for a long time, however, I am always interested in Japanese culture and enjoy doing Sado (Japanese tea ceremony) and Shodo (calligraphy) and wearing Kimono. Because living away from Japan makes me think how great and deep Japanese culture and language are and with this thought I started thinking it would be great to share my knowledge to even more people.
