About Miwa

My specialties are journalism and media ethics. I worked as a lecturer at a European university for five years, teaching Japanese social issues and the Japanese language. I also completed a course for foreign students in the Polish Studies department at that university and obtained a master's degree from another Polish university. I am currently pursuing my doctorate. I also attended a Polish language school, obtaining a B2 level and am currently studying for a C1 level.

About the lesson

We practice "active survival learning," which is the most effective method for students to learn by encouraging them to think and act on issues as if they were their own. We assign homework, but we don't just leave it at that; we always provide feedback so that students can use it to their advantage in the future. In addition to teaching vocabulary and grammar, we also convey the joy of using language with passion. The target age group is university students and above. Furthermore, from a journalist's perspective, we teach how to understand Japanese social issues and how to find and understand the vast amount of information available.
