About Sofia
I am a junior in college pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering. I am a student athlete so I balance being in a competitive sport with a rigorous academic schedule. I have taken the highest levels of math in Calculus for my degree and have a lot of passion for learning mathematics, especially with a student.

I adapt my teaching technique based on individual learning style. I always do the work as the student is doing theirs in order to demonstrate steps. I check every completed assignment before it is turned in and always do reviews for upcoming tests and quizzes a student may have in school. Spanish is my first language as well so I can speak with students, teach them how t read, and teach them how to write. I am equally luent and literate in both Spanish and English and assure that I know the material in mathematics as well as when I teach my language before I can share knowledge.
I enjoy working with all different ages within grade school. Everyone learns different so I want to help others learn as my tutors helped me learn!
