About Kalan

As someone who's been teaching for a long time, I know that professionalism, kindness, and an encouraging attitude is key for a great mentor bond between teacher and student. Throughout my career as a tutor, all my students have praised how I am easy to understand, work well with people, encourage them to learn and work, and maintain a level of professionalism others may not.

About the lesson

As an AVID tutor and a person who helps others at school in subjects that they struggle with, I've taught multiple subjects. I allow my students to learn holistically and allow my students to take a hands-on approach to learning with me nudging them in the right direction. I adjust my teaching strategies and appeal to my student's skills and abilities and my students have consistently improved their grades and have a stronger grasp on their subjects.
