I was the valedictorian of my high school and specialized in mathematics and physics. I have been tutoring now, both in school as a volunteer and outside as a personal business, for over 3 years. I think practice is key. As my grandma used to say, "If you don't use it, you lose it." That is why lessons are heavy on practice and aid from me where needed. I also believe that, in math and physics especially, a solid foundation is a necessity. So, I like to work backward as far as the student needs and build them up from there.
