About Zahra

Hi, I’m Zahra! I’m currently a second-year Psychology student at King’s College London.

I really enjoyed studying Psychology at A Level and found myself becoming particularly interested in understanding why people think, feel and behave the way they do. I especially enjoyed exploring different psychological theories and research, and I loved being able to observe the relationships between topics.

One of my favourite parts of studying Psychology was actually creating my own revision plans and finding ways to organise a large amount of content into something that felt clear and manageable. I enjoyed experimenting with different revision techniques, creating structured notes and practising exam questions. This helped me develop a strong understanding how to approach Psychology exams effectively.

Now that I’m studying Psychology at KCL, I’m able to continue exploring a subject that I adore. I’d love to share that enthusiasm with my students and help them discover that Psychology can be an interesting and enjoyable subject.

I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Whether you’re struggling with a particular topic, want to improve your exam technique or simply want to feel more confident in Psychology, I’m happy to help!

About the lesson

I take a friendly, patient and personalised approach to tutoring, adapting each lesson to the student’s individual needs, confidence and learning style.

Having achieved an A* in A Level Psychology and now studying Psychology in my second year at King’s College London, I understand the demands of the subject and the skills needed to succeed in exams. I can help students build a strong understanding of psychological theories and studies, while also developing their exam technique and confidence.

My lessons typically last 1 hour, although longer sessions can be arranged when appropriate. I like to combine explanation and discussion with active recall, practice questions, essay planning and exam-style questions. I encourage students to explain concepts in their own words and become more independent in their learning.

I can support GCSE and A Level Psychology students, including students who are starting the subject, preparing for exams, or looking to improve their grades. I am particularly happy to help students who feel overwhelmed by the amount of content and want a clear, structured approach to revision.

My aim is to make Psychology easier to understand, more engaging and less stressful, while helping students develop the knowledge and exam skills they need to reach their goals.
