About Becky
Jambo! I am a native Kiswahili speaker from Gathiga, Kiambu, Kenya. I grew up speaking Swahili and Kikisii at home, and I love sharing my language and culture. I started teaching friends who recently came to Nairobi and I saw how fast they learned when we use real life conversations. I am patient, friendly, and passionate about helping you connect with Kenyans. I want to teach because Swahili brings people together.

My lessons focus on real, everyday Swahili, not just textbook grammar. I teach beginners, expats, volunteers, and travelers how to speak, understand, and think in Kiswahili quickly. We use conversations, stories, music, and role-plays for market, taxi, office, and daily life. Every lesson is personalized to your level, goals, and pace. You will start speaking from day one, with simple sentences, pronunciation, and cultural tips to help you connect with Kenyans confidently. Lessons available online via Zoom and in person around Kiambu and Nairobi.
