About Ignacio

My interest in becoming a Spanish teacher is driving my passion for helping Spanish learners to be successful in school, and I would like to make a difference in their lives. I decided to start working here as a tutor to help new students that need my assistance learning Spanish. Many students do not know how important and effective learning a second language is, and my job is sharing this important information to my students. When I was in high school, I was convinced by the organization and motivations of one of my English teachers.

I transferred to SFSU in the Fall 2014 from College of San Mateo, and I decided to major in Spanish. I have been a tutor since my freshman year in college. Now, I am more convinced about my career as a Spanish teacher, and I consider myself bilingual and bicultural in Spanish and English. I consider myself persistent, organized, humorous and patient. I have a highly interest in helping students with their education.
