About Xavier
I tutor because I love to tutor. These last three years, I have tutored only as a Teaching Assistant and peer tutor at my school. Tutoring as a job is second priority to making sure my students understand and love what they are learning. I have been successful in my classes and AP exams. However, I wouldn’t have realized environmental science is what I love without the way I learned the material. Hopefully, our tutoring sessions will inspire you to learn the material because you find it interesting.

I have recent experience with AP environmental science. Most of the issues my students encounter are ones I figured out when I was a student very recently. It is hard to weed out what is important in AP environmental science. They give you a 10 pound textbook and don’t mention that there’s a logical approach to every topic. I know how the college board thinks when they are writing these tests. I have a good idea of what is on the test before it is released. I can help with any kind of environmental science from base up to the AP level. Next year, I am attending Virginia Tech’s honors college for environmental engineering!
