About Mitch

Teaching French is a quiet pursuit for me because I find that language is best understood through the small, daily rhythms of conversation. After spending 13 years performing on stage and working in studios, I realized that the precision of music applies perfectly to the nuances of French pronunciation and accent and intonation.

I focus on building your conversational fluency by integrating listening practice and reading comprehension into our regular discussions. We will move beyond basic grammar by exploring idioms and expressions that make the language feel alive and authentic. My goal is to help you navigate everything from interview preparation to simple everyday phrases for beginners with total comfort.

About the lesson

Many students struggle because they memorize vocabulary lists while forgetting that 82 students have taught me that speaking is a physical act. Pronunciation is 90 percent of the battle, and I focus on the mechanics of your speech to ensure you sound clear and natural. We explore business French alongside casual idioms, making sure you feel ready for any real-world interaction that comes your way. I bring my background in studio performance to our sessions to ensure your tone is always precise, even when you are just beginning to master the basics.
