Super Tutor

Souhail is one of our best Arabic tutors. High-quality profile and excellent qualifications, organised and responsive to lesson requests, appreciated by their students!

About Souhail

I’m Souhail Akayour, a certified English and Arabic teacher and professional translator with a BA in English linguistics and an MA in (Arabic - English - French) translation. I’ve been teaching Arabic since 2022, English since 2020 and translating since 2018. I’m passionate about helping students gain confidence and communicate effectively both in English and Arabic.

About the lesson

As a tutor, my approach is interactive, personalized, and goal-oriented. I combine my academic background in Arabic & English linguistics and English - Arabic - English translation with real classroom experience to create lessons that are both structured and flexible.

Teaching Methodology & Techniques:
I use a communicative and learner-centered approach, encouraging active participation through real-life tasks, role plays, and guided conversations. I integrate grammar and vocabulary in context, and often use visuals, short videos, and interactive activities to keep lessons engaging and memorable. I also tailor my materials to meet each learner’s specific needs and learning style.

A Typical Lesson Plan Includes:
1. A brief warm-up to review or introduce vocabulary
2. A targeted grammar (in context) or communication point
3. Practice activities (speaking, listening, or writing)
4. Free practice activities (where the students get to produce the learned language themselves)
5. Feedback and correction in a supportive way
6. A short recap and homework suggestion (if desired)

What Sets Me Apart:
I’m both a translator and a certified English teacher with over 5 years of experience, which gives me a unique eye for language use and cultural nuance. I also teach Arabic to non-native speakers, especially Americans, so I understand how to explain complex ideas simply and clearly. I’m patient, encouraging, and always ready to adapt to my student’s pace.

Who My Lessons Are For:
Middle & high school students (all levels) - University students needing language or translation help - Adults and professionals aiming to learn or improve their Arabic Let’s work together to unlock your full language potential!
