About Anushtup
I am Anushtup Routh. I am from Kolkata. I am born in a family of music enthusiasts, my mother being a singer and my father being a tabla player for the last 40 years. I began my training under my father, later on I shifted to Shree Kumar Deb Mitra in 2015 and after a year finally was blessed enough to be the disciple of Pandit Abhijit Banerjee of Farukkhabad Gharana. I've participated in many competitions across the globe and have been appreciated by Padmashree Pandit Swapan Chaudhari, Pandit Ajay Chakraborty, Pandit Samar Saha, Pandit Arup Chatterjee to name a few. I'm blessed enough to have been able to accompany my Guru on stage on multiple occasions and also accompany Pandit Shantanu Bandopadhyay, son of the legendary Pandit Amiyaranjan Bandopadhyay of Bishnupur Gharana.
