About Diya
Hello! I am a college student with a passion for music, teaching, and helping others learn new skills. I have been learning and playing the piano for the past three years, and what started as a hobby quickly became one of my favorite creative outlets.
Through my own learning journey, I have developed a strong understanding of the fundamentals of piano, including notes, chords, melodies, rhythm, and basic music theory. I believe that one of my greatest strengths as a teacher is my patience, communication skills, and ability to explain concepts in a simple and encouraging way.
I decided to explore tutoring because I genuinely enjoy sharing knowledge, working with people, and helping others gain confidence in their abilities. As someone who has learned piano step by step, I understand the challenges beginners face and aim to create a friendly, supportive, and enjoyable learning environment.
I look forward to helping students discover the joy of playing the piano while continuing to grow as both a musician and an educator.

I believe that learning the piano should be enjoyable, encouraging, and stress-free. Having studied piano for three years and continuing to play it as a hobby, I understand the challenges beginners face and aim to create a supportive environment where students can learn at their own pace.
My classes focus on building a strong foundation in piano through basic music theory, keyboard familiarity, notes, chords, scales, rhythm, melodies, and simple songs. I use a practical and interactive teaching approach that combines demonstrations, guided practice, and exercises to help students develop confidence and enjoy the learning process.
A typical class includes warm-up exercises, learning new concepts, practicing techniques, and playing melodies or songs to reinforce understanding. I encourage students to ask questions and progress at a pace that feels comfortable and enjoyable for them.
My classes are ideal for complete beginners, children, school students, and anyone interested in learning the fundamentals of piano and developing a lifelong appreciation for music.
