In my Bharatanatyam classes, students will not only learn the traditional dance technique but also deeply connect with our Indian culture, heritage, and spiritual roots. My teaching method blends structured learning with personal exploration, focusing on posture, rhythm, expression (abhinaya), and grace.
We’ll study the origins of Bharatanatyam through the lens of the Natya Shastra, exploring its ancient philosophies and relevance in today’s world. Every session is a journey to understand not just the dance, but the dancer—cultivating awareness of your body, mind, and emotions.
Classes are beginner-friendly and progress gradually, ensuring each student builds a strong foundation. I prioritize discipline, self-awareness, storytelling, and joy in movement, creating a space where students can grow artistically and personally.
