About Juan Carlos

I am a passionate and dedicated English teacher with a strong background in communication, education, and learner development. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, major in Broadcasting, from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and a Post-Baccalaureate in Education, major in Social Science, from the Philippine Normal University. My teaching philosophy centers on creating an engaging, supportive, and student-focused learning environment where learners build confidence in using English through meaningful communication, interactive activities, and practical applications. I strive to make every lesson enjoyable and relevant by adapting my teaching strategies to each student's learning style and goals. Whether teaching young learners, high school and college students, or adult professionals, I am committed to helping them develop their English proficiency, critical thinking, and communication skills while fostering a lifelong love for learning.

About the lesson

My approach as an English tutor is learner-centered, interactive, and tailored to each student's individual needs and goals. I use a communicative teaching method that encourages students to actively develop their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through discussions, role-playing, practical exercises, and real-life applications while reinforcing grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and critical thinking.
