About Heather

Hello! I’m Heather, a warm-hearted Florida native and passionate ESL teacher. I’ve had the pleasure of teaching English on Cambly and offering freelance lessons for the prior 2 years, connecting with wonderful students from Turkey to Japan—children, teenagers and adults.

I believe in the power of engaging conversations to make learning enjoyable. Outside of teaching, I cherish crafting, writing poetry, and indulging in a good scary movie. I love animals and have two rescue dogs, a bearded dragon, two chickens, and six koi fish!

I have a deep appreciation for lore and a genuine desire to learn and grow alongside others. Family is at the heart of everything I do, and I always strive to support and uplift those around me. I look forward to getting to know you and guiding you on your English learning journey!
