About Aven
I am a French tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Applied Languages in French. I specialize in teaching children aged 5–12, making French learning joyful and engaging. My lessons are full of interactive storytelling, songs, and movement to capture young learners’ attention and imagination. I focus on building a strong foundation in vocabulary, pronunciation, and simple grammar. Through playful activities and creative exercises, children learn French naturally while having fun. I make sure lessons are memorable by connecting language to real-life contexts and exciting stories. I enjoy seeing students gain confidence in speaking, listening, and understanding French. Each lesson is designed to spark curiosity and encourage participation. I adapt my approach to each child’s pace and learning style, ensuring they feel supported and motivated. My goal is to nurture both curiosity and confidence, helping children develop a lifelong love for the French language. Learning French with me is not just about lessons—it’s about joyful discovery and building skills that last.

My teaching approach focuses on making French fun, practical, and easy to remember. I combine conversational practice with interactive activities like games, songs, and storytelling to help students engage naturally with the language. Humor is a key part of my lessons—it makes learning enjoyable and improves retention.
I work with learners of all backgrounds, including newcomers and immigrants, helping them gain confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing French. Lessons are personalized to each student’s goals, whether for daily communication, school, or work. I emphasize real-life conversations, practical vocabulary, and cultural insights to make learning relevant.
Through playful exercises and creative methods, I guide students in building vocabulary, understanding grammar, and expressing themselves clearly. I focus on gradual progress, encouraging mistakes as part of learning. I support students in mastering pronunciation, idioms, and conversational fluency.
My goal is to create a positive, motivating environment where learners feel comfortable practicing and improving every day. Step by step, students gain confidence, communicate effectively, and enjoy the journey of learning French.
