About Zuzana

Want to feel confident speaking Italian in daily life or when moving to Italy? I help students start speaking from the first lessons through practical, personalized sessions focused on real communication.

I have always been passionate about languages and cultures. At 16, I had the opportunity to study in the United States on a scholarship, an experience that strengthened both my language skills and my interest in international communication.

I later graduated in English and German, specializing in Translation and Interpreting, and a few years later I also obtained a state certification in Italian. In addition to these languages, I speak Slovak and Czech, and basic Romanian.

With over ten years of teaching experience, I enjoy helping students gain confidence and communicate naturally in a new language. My goal is to create a supportive and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable practicing and seeing real progress.

About the lesson

My lessons are personalized according to each student’s goals and needs. I focus on building confidence, fluency, and practical language skills by using an interactive and communicative approach, combining conversation, practical exercises, and authentic materials.

Important: During my classes we will speak almost entirely in Italian. Instead of translating new words, I prefer explaining them in Italian to help students think directly in the language.

I strongly believe the key to mastering a language is using it actively. Rather than spending too much time explaining grammar in theory, we use class time to really practice it, correct mistakes gently, and help students gain confidence and flow in real communication.
