About Evita

I’m a native Italian who moved to London for university. My background in Ancient Greek and Latin gave me a deep understanding of languages, making it easier to teach and explain Italian in a clear and engaging way. I’m passionate about Italian culture, food, history, and—of course—the language itself! Teaching has always brought me joy, and through years of tutoring, I’ve learned how to make lessons interactive and fun. I’m energetic, punctual, and (I’ll admit it!) a bit of a chatterbox—but that just means you’ll never get bored in my classes! My goal is to keep you engaged and excited for every lesson. Can’t wait to share my passion with you!

About the lesson

In our first lesson, we’ll take the time to get to know each other so I can understand your level and create a plan just for you. While grammar is important, vocabulary is the key to unlocking a new language. That’s why, in the recommended two weekly lessons, the first will focus 60% on building your vocabulary and 40% on grammar. The second will be about speaking practice, with 60% dedicated to conversation and 40% to vocabulary. From food to culture, from the easiest verb tense to the most challenging one, no matter your starting point, I’ll guide you step by step towards success!

I highly recommend Evita as an Italian's teacher as she is a very competent person, with a high level of preparation and command of the language. Besides being qualified, she is also a very reliable person, able to get in tune with her students, and full of interests that will make the dialogue pleasant, constructive and interesting.
Her ability to create a comfortable environment, her culture and ability to vary and adapt to topics are ideal for a good learning of the Italian language.

I loved Evita's lessons! She's a kind and honest teacher so I really improved through her feedbacks whilst never feeling pressured. Evita is truthfully skilled as a teacher. She's patient, a knowledgeable person, and definitely knows what she's talking about: she can explain everything super clearly. The fact that she's also sooo friendly absolutely helped! My Italian definitely needed her.

I’m originally from the Netherlands at the moment living in the UK, and I wanted to learn Italian because I usually travel there for work. So I sign up in this website to find a good teacher, and I found Evita. She was really good and patient during our lessons, she really can made me understand everything in a simple and easy way. Even with pronunciation, which was something that I struggled with, she helped me to improve, understanding my struggles. So I highly recommend Evita as an Italian teacher.
