About Kakai

I grew up in Shanghai, China, attended a Japanese school, and graduated from a Japanese high school. I am currently studying at the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Waseda University. I speak both Japanese and Chinese, so I can explain grammar and word meanings in an easy-to-understand way using Chinese for those just starting to learn Japanese. Having experienced the difficulties of learning a foreign language myself, I understand the feelings of "it's embarrassing to make mistakes" and "I don't know what to say." In lessons, I value a bright and relaxed atmosphere where students can feel comfortable speaking a lot. My hobbies include aviation, music, computers, and VR. In addition to everyday conversation, we can practice conversations on topics that interest you, such as school life, travel, Japanese culture, and hobbies. I will carefully support each student according to their individual goals and pace.

About the lesson

From beginners to advanced learners, we provide careful instruction tailored to each individual's goals and level. Lessons cover a balanced mix of everyday conversation, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, reading, and writing. We begin by confirming your learning objectives and create a lesson plan focused on necessary content, such as travel, life in Japan, school, work, or qualification exams. In conversation practice, we prioritize a fun atmosphere where you can speak without fear of making mistakes. We explain difficult concepts clearly using simple Japanese and concrete examples. Support in Chinese is also available, so even those learning Japanese for the first time can feel at ease. We use not only textbooks, but also news, videos, and everyday life scenarios to help you acquire natural, usable Japanese.
