I'm mixed race, Japanese-Irish Australian. My friends and family tell me I am good at teaching and I suppose it's true. I really enjoy both helping people meet their goals and sharing Japanese culture and language skills. I'm willing to offer flexible approaches to help you meet your own language goals, from learning the basics for a trip to more advanced conversational skills, and reading. I speak both English and Japanese with native fluency, and with a background in linguistics I can explain the "why" of language rules if that helps. If you are interested in culture or cuisine we can incorporate cooking, calligraphy, arts and crafts if it appeals.
