About Kanae

Hello! My name is Kanae, and I am a native Japanese speaker with a passion for helping others learn Japanese in a supportive and engaging way.

I have experience tutoring college students in Japanese and enjoy helping learners build confidence in their language skills. I have lived in the United States for over 12 years, which gives me a strong understanding of both Japanese and American cultures. This experience helps me explain Japanese language concepts in a clear and relatable way for English-speaking students.

As a parent raising a bilingual 3 y/o daughter, I understand the challenges and rewards of language learning. I believe that learning a language should be enjoyable, practical, and adapted to each student's pace and interests.
