About Lin

I am a native Chinese speaker with 2 years of experience teaching Chinese at a Chinese school. I especially enjoy teaching adults, and I also welcome children who are interested in learning Mandarin.

I have lived in the United States for eight years. Before moving here, I ran a small business in China. My experience living in both countries gives me practical examples to share, from everyday conversations to cultural differences.

My goal is to help students feel comfortable asking questions and practicing Chinese, while learning useful expressions and the cultural context behind them.

My Mandarin lessons focus on practical communication, pronunciation, and understanding Chinese culture. Each lesson is tailored to your current level, interests, and learning goals.
We can explore interesting topics such as travel, food, culture, and everyday life—or subjects you enjoy. Through guided conversation, focused practice, and review, I help you strengthen your Chinese and use it more confidently.
