About Alicia
I am a 20-year-old student who studied high school in Hong Kong before moving to the UK to pursue an undergraduate degree.
I want to teach because more often than not, it is easy to be lost when it comes to school, and I want to be able to provide extra support for those who need it. The school system sometimes does not teach the necessary skills to get good grades or to grasp good understanding of the materials assigned, and I will be able to teach the skills that I have obtained in my years of experience to others.

I will assess the student's needs and tailor their needs to a study method that is best suited for them. I will guide the student in making sure that the material is clearly understood before assigning practice work to solidify the learning material, being there to support the student throughout the entire process.
The typical length of a lesson will be from 1-2 hours, depending on the student's needs. I have had previous tutor experience teaching English to non-English students, and have also worked in a tutoring center teaching English. Having obtained a First Class Honors in my university studies, I can also help older students with essay writing, and how to best analyze texts to improve their writing skills.
