About Tom
I studied Piano with Lauryna Sableviciute and was the 2015 Recipient of The MTA Musical Direction Mentorship. As an Install Music Director for MSC Cruises, I install first-class production shows on their ships worldwide. I have worked on National and International productions including Jersey Boys, Jerry Springer the Opera, Parade, The Last Five Years, Little Shop of Horrors, Annie, West Side Story, Spring Awakening, Cats, Gypsy, The Producers and Mamma Mia!

** FREE TRIAL LESSON ** Let's delve into the world of Music together in a relaxed and fun environment as we learn! I have taught Piano and Singing to ages 6 - 80 working with beginners through to full-time working professionals! Topics Covered include; Sight-Singing/Reading Scales/Arpeggios/Technical Exercises Music Theory Harmony Rhythmic Awareness ABRSM/Rockschool Graded Exams Estill Figures for Voice Ear-Training Music isn't just about gaining Grades. It's the place where kids can develop confidence, motor skills and good habits, where adults can rekindle passion and a place where we can all express ourselves in a way that words cannot touch. Learning music is a journey and it'd be my pleasure to go on it with you. I have taught at a number of Further and Higher Education Institutions including; The Hammond School, Liverpool Hope University, Liverpool Theatre School, Birmingham Ormiston Academy, The Musical Theatre Academy, The Arden School of Theatre and UCLan. As a Vocal Coach my students have appeared in numerous West End and Touring productions including Starlight Express, Come From Away, Les Miserables, Wicked, Rocky Horror and further afield in films such as Rocketman, Bohemian Rhapsody and Holmes and Watson starring Will Ferrell and John C Reilly! What to expect A Free Trial Session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, I can observe how you respond and you can see whether we are a good match. I usually will get you to start with some basic note recognition, recognising pitches on the piano and even guessing famous film scores with some entry sight-reading! For those coming from elsewhere, we will look at where you are at, I will offer guidance and tips for where you have gotten to and see whether my methods will be a good fit!
