How I know Ben:
Ben and I met through an outing and we have expressed our shared interest in music, although he has more of an academic level while I have a more casual approach in music. If you ever need help from basic music to university level composing, Ben is your guy to learn from.

What you appreciate most about the teaching methods:
I'd like to think Ben has 2 versions of teaching methods depending on the level. If you are a novice or know close to nothing about piano, he will make sure you learn in a more fun way rather than the traditional route of learning scales and proper fingering first. If you have at least basic knowledge of music theory or composing, he can explain in a way that makes sense to you and why this is right and such, making your techniques or piece better than what you initially had.

• A shared experience you’ve had together
I am a (jazz) drummer so when he goes into his "learning" mindset, he will put on a lot of pieces, usually from various game soundtracks, and ask me about time signatures [Always]. He doesn't just learn for himself but he brings others who are also music inclined to practice with him. Sometimes he does it so often that it does bother me when I am already occupied by something else. He always occupies himself with anything music related topics and challenges himself.
