About Mandvi

Hello! I have been playing ukulele, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and bass guitar for 10 years now and I specialize in all chords and strumming patterns. I can make you identify chords and patterns, and you will be able to play any song on your Ukulele with ease and in no time.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is simple and easy to understand and grasp. I will start with teaching chords and tabs and then move on to strumming patterns. Will teach you some fun and tricky songs along the way so that you will master the required important techniques

Perfect! Mandvi is friendly and polite as a person. She is adaptive and is always willing to reschedule the classes if required. The classes are nicely structured and each acts as a building block for the next class. So in no time, I learned to play a few basic chords and strumming patterns. Whenever I have doubts, she listens and effectively addresses them and explains the technique until I understand them. So I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn the Ukulele.

Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
My interest in music started when I was in school. I always loved listening to music and I used to watch a lot of them play online. I came across a lot of 70s metal music and guitar focused music, I brought a guitar and started learning basic chords and riffs. And that's how I started.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
My music teacher. She was very polite and passionate about her work and also used to teach us with patience and in a very fun loving way.
How does your work help society?
I think everyone should learn to play a musical instrument. Playing a musical instrument on a regular basis can help bring down stress. I find playing musical instrument meditative. Playing an instrument is stress buster. It opens up your brain. It's an exercise for the brain. It also helps you to connect with other people.
Living with music enables a person to take out all negativities from inside, provide a sense of motivation and strengthen a new vision to look at life from a different perspective.
Music brings peace and smile in each and every person who listens or learns, my role is to teach and spread music in a simple way to understand.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
My music teacher. I admire her zest for life, music & art. She planted the seed of music & creativity in me.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
I like reading books. I love playing basketball and chess.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
Recently one of my students played me her first original composition and the excitement on her face was beyond description.
