About Ashmit

Hello! I'm Ashmit, a Computer Science student at New York University with a strong interest in programming, software development, and artificial intelligence.

Over the years, I have worked on multiple technical projects, including software systems in C++, machine learning applications in Python, and virtual reality development using Unity. These experiences have helped me develop both practical programming skills and a deep understanding of computer science fundamentals.

I enjoy teaching because I know how challenging programming can feel when you're first starting out. My goal is to make complex concepts easy to understand through clear explanations, hands-on coding, and real examples. I believe students learn best when they actively solve problems rather than simply memorise code.

Whether you're a beginner learning your first programming language or a student looking for help with coursework, assignments, or projects, I will provide patient guidance and structured lessons tailored to your goals.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on understanding concepts through practice rather than memorising syntax or theory. I adapt each lesson to the student's background, goals, and pace of learning.

A typical class begins with a review of previous concepts and any questions the student may have. I then introduce new topics using clear explanations and examples before guiding the student through coding exercises and problem-solving activities. Each lesson ends with practice tasks and a summary of the key concepts covered.

I specialise in teaching Python, C++, Computer Programming, and introductory Artificial Intelligence. My lessons emphasise logical thinking, debugging skills, and writing clean, efficient code. I also help students understand how programming concepts are applied in real projects and software development.
