Super Tutor

Erika is one of our best Italian tutors. High-quality profile and excellent qualifications, organised and responsive to lesson requests, appreciated by their students!

About Erika

Ciao! I'm Erika, born and raised in Italy, with a degree in Languages and a certification as an Italian interpreter. Perth was my home for several years, and it's where teaching Italian became my main profession, privately and with Italian schools across Australia. I've recently moved back to Italy, but my heart (and most of my students!) are still in Australia, so I teach online at times that work perfectly for WA.
For you, my move is good news: your lessons come with the Italian that's spoken here right now, fresh stories from daily life in Italy, and first-hand tips for when you finally take that trip (and some pics as extra!).

About the lesson

My lessons are relaxed, fun and shaped entirely around you.
Whether you're starting from zero, brushing up before a holiday, or reconnecting with your family's roots, we'll find the pace and style that suits you.
I focus a lot on speaking from day one — confidence grows by using the language, not just studying it — and I'll gently help you with the tricky parts until they click. All my materials are made by me and included for free: videos, role plays, short stories, articles, and homework only if you want it.
Beginners get a clear path to follow; more advanced students get real conversation about real Italian life.
Afternoon and evening times available for Perth and WA students.
Come and try a free lesson — worst case, you'll learn a few words of Italian and hear a good story about Italy!

Perfect! I’ve been learning Italian with Erika for a month so far, and it’s been such a positive experience. She’s warm, patient, and very skilled. She explains things clearly and in a way that makes the language feel much more approachable and easy to understand.

She’s helping build my confidence with speaking by creating a really comfortable and encouraging atmosphere.

She’s also very organised, so each lesson feels structured and purposeful. I’m excited to continue my Italian journey with her, and I’d highly recommend her to anyone—especially if you’re just starting out.

I have been studying Italian for 3 years! And all I can say is she is so calm, so knowledgeable and makes all my lessons enjoyable (with laughters). You can tell she cares and tailors your lesson to were you are at. Im a slower learn and not once did I feel like rushed or judged. I would highly recommend if you are wanting to lean Italian. And she even organises dinners and special Christmas lessons. Very happy I’ve found her! Thank you Erika

Erika was my Italian teacher when I was planning a trip to Italy. Erika is so down to earth and easy to talk to. She really takes the time to listen and guide you through learning with such patience. She gave me the confidence to continue learning even when it got hard and I loved every second of it! Couldn’t recommend her more as an Italian teacher, you can tell she loves what she does and loves the Italian language.
