About Christina
I’m Christina — a designer, maker and lifelong creative. I trained in Contour Fashion and have since worked across fashion, jewellery, events and production. I love learning how things are made, experimenting with new ideas and sharing those skills with others. For me, sewing is less about perfection and more about having the confidence to create.

I’m a multidisciplinary designer with a background in Contour Fashion, corsetry, garment construction and professional sewing. I currently work with industrial sewing and textile production, alongside running my own design studio.
I offer relaxed, practical sewing lessons tailored to your level — whether you’ve never touched a sewing machine before, want to become confident making your own clothes, need help understanding patterns and construction, or want to develop more technical skills such as corsetry.
I can help you learn machine set-up and confidence, seams and professional finishing, pattern understanding, garment construction, fabric handling, corsetry techniques, industrial sewing principles and how to troubleshoot when things don’t go quite to plan.
You don’t need any previous experience. We can start with the basics or work together on a project you’ve always wanted to make.
My approach is creative and hands-on: I want you to understand why something is constructed a certain way so that eventually you have the confidence to design, adapt and make things independently.
Based in the North West. One-to-one lessons available for beginners, hobby sewists, fashion students and creatives wanting to improve their technical sewing skills.
