About Mia

My name is Mia, I am 21 years old, and I am currently studying Musical Theatre in Barcelona, Spain.
For some time, I have been thinking about teaching Spanish. As a native Spanish speaker and someone who has always been passionate about languages, I would love to share my curiosity for languages with my future students. I speak Spanish, English, I am fluent in German and I am currently learning French. Being a language learner myself has taught me how challenging — but also how exciting — learning a new language can be.

I am very curious about languages, I have always enjoyed discovering how they work, finding patterns and different ways to understand them, and explaining these things to others. I would love to inspire that same curiosity in my students and help them feel more confident using Spanish in real-life situations.

Although I am new to teaching, to me this is an opportunity to give my future students something very important: personal attention, time and patience, and a genuine commitment to their progress. I will take the time to understand your goals, interests and learning style, and I will adapt our lessons the best way I can.

As a Musical Theatre student, I also have a particular interest in communication, pronunciation, expression, and speaking with confidence — skills that can make a huge difference when learning a language.

I may be at the beginning of my teaching journey, but I am motivated, patient, creative, and genuinely excited to help you learn Spanish. And since I am learning languages myself, I understand that every student has their own challenges and their own pace and way of learning.

About the lesson

¡Hola! I am a native Spanish speaker from Argentina! I offer online Spanish lessons with English as our common language. My main goal is to adapt my classes according to your goals, level and personal interests. Whether you want to improve your conversation skills, understand a specific grammar topic, prepare for a trip, feel more confident speaking Spanish, or learn the language from scratch, I can help you!
In our lessons, we use different material depending on your needs, goals and your starting point.
I want you to feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and most importantly, enjoying the learning process. I would love to help you to get more familiar with this beautiful language!
A little note about my Spanish: I come from Argentina, however I teach neutral Spanish by default. If you happen to be interested in getting more familiar with Argentine Spanish, I’d be happy to include that too!
