Hi! I’m Teacher Apols!
I’m an AB Mass Communication graduate with 16 years of professional experience working with local and international companies, plus 5 years of tutoring experience in the Middle East. I’ve worked with learners from different ages, cultures, and language backgrounds.
But beyond my work experience, I genuinely enjoy connecting with people, communicating, and helping others learn. I’ve worked with learners from different ages, cultures, and backgrounds, which taught me that everyone learns differently and that’s perfectly okay!
As a teacher, I’m patient, friendly, encouraging, and easy to talk to. I don’t believe in making learners feel pressured or embarrassed when they make mistakes. Instead, I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, practicing, and learning at your own pace.
Whether you’re a child learning to read English or Filipino/Tagalog, a student who needs extra academic support, or a foreign learner who wants to communicate more confidently, I’m here to help! ️

Hi! I’m Teacher Apols!
My lessons are personalized to your age, level, goals, and learning pace. I like keeping things simple and practical, with plenty of practice and conversation along the way.
English Reading – For Young Learners
I help children build confidence in reading English through phonics, word recognition, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading fluency, and comprehension. Whether your child is just learning to read or needs extra practice, lessons are adjusted to their level and learning pace.
Filipino/Tagalog Reading – For Young Learners & Beginners
I help learners improve their ability to read, pronounce, understand, and use Filipino/Tagalog words and sentences. Lessons can focus on vocabulary, reading comprehension, and building confidence in the Filipino language.
️Basic Communication Skills – For Foreign Learners
For foreigners, my goal is to help you communicate comfortably and confidently in everyday situations. We can practice introducing yourself, asking and answering questions, expressing your thoughts, understanding common conversations, and building practical vocabulary. Filipino/Tagalog lessons can also be customized for travel, work, relationships, social situations, or daily life in the Philippines.
Academic Support – Grades 1–6
I also provide personalized support with reading, comprehension, homework, and basic school skills.
Whether your child needs help becoming a more confident reader, a beginner wants to strengthen Filipino/Tagalog reading skills, or a foreign learner wants to communicate more naturally, I tailor every lesson to your age, level, goals, and learning pace.
