About Harrison
Many players struggle with tension that prevents fluid movement. I admit that even after years of practice, I sometimes have to stop and reset my own posture.
We start by ensuring your guitar is in perfect tuning and that you understand basic maintenance. From there, we address acoustic technique, fingerpicking, and music theory.
I often tell my students that we are building a foundation for songwriting, not just copying notes. Because I work with intermediate professionals, I expect focus and curiosity. I prefer to keep our time together relaxed and productive.

After spending 17 years perfecting the nuances of the fretboard, I still recall the first time I held a classical instrument. My journey from Santiago to Berklee College of Music informs every note I play and teach today. I specialize in the Sor, Tárrega, and Barrios traditions that define the Segovia school.
Working with 434 students has taught me that the guitar is an extension of the human voice. I bring a deep respect for flamenco and Latin roots to every session. It remains incredibly satisfying to see someone connect with the music on a deeper level.
