About Tycen

I am a seasoned guitar teacher with knowledge of how to rock out!
My resume includes teaching at the National Music Center, Destiny Performing Arts, and many years of performing at bars on the streets as a busker and at campfire sing-alongs.
I also work in the film industry and have honours in film and video production, so I have great insight into how music videos work.

About the lesson

I build all lessons to fit the needs of each student.
Under my classes, students will learn
- the different parts of the guitar
- How to maintain a guitar
- How to string and tune your guitar
- A scale
- open chords
- bar chords
- How to read tabs and play songs
- After confidence in playing starting chords, we will move on to power chords, bar chords, depending on the desired playing style.
Later lessons include
-stage presence
- play with others
- How to cover up mistakes while playing live. (it happens to all of us)
