About Ohiro

I am a certified Technology Educator with professional certifications in Responsive Web Design and JavaScript from freeCodeCamp. I have over 3 years of experience teaching students from primary school through senior secondary level, and I have successfully guided students in building websites, designing graphics, and understanding AI tools.

Beyond teaching, I am also a practicing Front-End Web Developer and Graphic Designer. I have worked on live, real-world projects including Grandmother Africa and Adameal, which means I bring actual industry experience into every lesson — not just textbook knowledge.

I understand that every student learns differently, so I create personalized learning plans that match their pace, interests, and goals. I am patient, approachable, and committed to helping my students truly understand what they are learning, not just memorize it.

About the lesson

I teach the way the industry actually works — not theory, not memorization, but building real things. Every lesson is project-driven, meaning from Week 1, students are creating actual websites, not just copying code.

A typical lesson starts with a quick review, then we dive straight into building something new. I explain concepts as we go, answer questions in real time, and ensure the student understands before moving forward. Each session ends with a mini-project or task to reinforce what was learned.

What sets me apart is that I don't just teach coding — I teach career preparation. I help students build portfolios, understand the tech industry, explore freelance opportunities, and map out their future path in technology. Whether they want to become developers, designers, or tech entrepreneurs, I guide them beyond the classroom.

I also teach AI tools, digital literacy, and productivity techniques — because technology isn't just about writing code, it's about working smarter. Students learn how to use AI for research, learning assistance, content creation, and productivity, while also developing essential computer skills and online safety practices.

I offer career mapping and mentorship — not just lessons. My students don't just learn HTML and CSS; they learn how to think like problem solvers, how to market their skills, and how to position themselves for real opportunities in the digital economy.
