About Cleo

I’ve spent over 5 years teaching voice after earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Arts and Opera. My passion is helping singers grow into their fullest potential while staying true to who they are. I focus especially on contemporary worship and gospel music because of the emotional depth these styles carry. Many of my students come to me feeling nervous about their voices or anxious about performing in front of others. I love watching that fear transform into confidence through consistent support and practice. Breath control, phrasing, and vocal health are at the center of my lessons. I also place great emphasis on live performance coaching, particularly for those leading worship in congregational settings. I work with students of all levels—shy beginners, teen worship leaders, and aspiring artists preparing for the studio. Alongside worship and gospel, I teach Pop, Indie, and R&B, giving singers variety and flexibility. What excites me most is helping each student connect emotionally with their music. I believe songs become powerful when they reflect both skill and sincerity. Lessons are not just about technical growth but also about spiritual and personal expression. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and tailored to your unique goals. Together, we’ll find joy in the process of discovering your voice. Singing can be life-changing, and I’m honored to help students share their gifts in both music and ministry.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching singing combines technique with wellness. A singer’s voice is more than sound—it is an instrument that requires care. Lessons begin with strengthening breath control and healthy tone production. We then move into building vocal stamina for regular performances and tours. I teach ways to reduce vocal fatigue and manage stress on the instrument. Students also learn recovery techniques that help the voice bounce back quickly. Pre- and post-performance care is a regular part of my lessons. I help soloists grow in strength and endurance, while also guiding ensemble singers in blending and balance. My teaching is supportive and adaptive to each singer’s journey. Long-term vocal health is always a priority, and I encourage singers to make healthy habits part of daily life. Technique is important, but protecting your voice is essential for longevity. Every lesson is a step toward a sustainable career in music. Preserve your voice, preserve your career.
