About Melissa

Originally an artist who learnt how to DJ in the pandemic, it completely changed my life and reignited my love for music. As a creative I feel constantly reinventing yourself is part of the creative journey, my years as an artist cultivating a love for music has been alchemised into pouring my energy into my sets. It’s been a dream come true going to DJ school, after years of hard work I now have successful events. Along with making connections in radio and the music industry after 10 years, I’d love to share my experience/connections and guide beginner DJs during their journey to becoming full-time DJs and building their brand. I can’t wait to meet you and start our journey together. Mel x

About the lesson

My name is Melissa and I’m currently a full-time DJ. I’ve always wanted to teach others how to DJ because it fills me with joy seeing someone go on a learning journey from a beginner and watching their life transform as they turn their journey into a career. I’ve been hired for private gigs, NYE as well as Boxpark. I’m currently in the process of getting a radio show. This journey has been so beautiful and I would love to share this journey with beginners.
