About Sarah

Bonjour !

I taught French 100+ students who all have had different dreams and goals. Here is a non-exhaustive list of areas and situations in which I have taught French:

-DELF / DALF, TEF, TCF training
-Professional French applied to the tourism sector
-Travelling preparation
-French adapted to foreigners settling in France, Switzerland or Belgium
-French of everyday life and general culture

The level of my students varies from A1.1 to C1, they are between 16 and 83 years old.
I started teaching French in 2010 in Mexico then I continued in Brazil where I lived for 6 years. I have just returned to France and I am here to help you achieve your goals. My face lights up every time I'm in front of my students, I love teaching and sharing my culture with others.
I am certified by the Alliance Française and I studied English and Spanish at the Sorbonne University. I have traveled a lot and lived in various foreign countries so I have also been in your shoes. I understand your needs and I know what works when it comes to language learning. I am of course a teacher, but I also see myself as a coach, beyond teaching you the language, my role is also to give you the self confidence to apply the skills acquired during the lessons in your everyday life. I hope we will go far together!

About the lesson

The course is goal oriented. First of all, we will assess your level and discuss your interests in order to adapt the course to your needs. The classes are structured by thematic units which allow you to interact in French in many daily life situations (tourism, business, studies, work, culture, health, etc.). These units are structured in increasing difficulty level to allow you to progress by reusing what you have learned in previous courses. A course begins with a document that triggers a conversation and presents a challenge for you in terms of vocabulary and/or grammar. It can be an article, a video, a song, a photo sequence, a daily life situation, depending on your interests and level. I am here to listen to you speak and guide you by giving you the vocabulary and structures necessary to allow your progress and give you self-confidence. I ask you a lot of questions so that the lessons are dynamic and conversational-oriented. I am also always open if you wish to bring material to the class that you want to study or discuss.
