About Kim

If I could teach my nephew Landon from a slow learner to become one of the top students, I can teach you to be one of the top students in your classes as well! If you give me a chance to assist you. Teaching someone requires natural talent and the ability to transfer the skills to someone else, not just academics.

About the lesson

Dear Students:

I have a degree in Computer Mathematics and many other computer certifications.

The story was that my nephew Landon was having a hard time in school, not because he was not smart, but because the teacher didn't give him the support and time he needed.

He was sent to school where he needed assistance (meaning school for students who are "slow learners"). He went there for one year! It hurt me to see my nephew go through that, so I told the teacher that he had to go back to a regular school and I would teach him!

Of course, it took me a while to learn how to implement my knowledge to teach him at his level so that he could understand. The good thing was Landon committed to learning, and he liked my way of teaching :-)

His marks in all the subjects improved tremendously, except for writing! And one day, his teacher called his parents in to have a meeting. His parents thought that maybe they would complain about Landon again! But they were wrong! The teacher told his parents that Landon's learning had significantly improved in most subjects (except writing), and math was his favourite subject! I taught him from grade 4 to grade 7; he is his junior high this year! To this day, Landon is one of the top students in his classes. And I am so proud of him!
