About Jerusha
I am a student that has been drawing as far back as I can remember. I have encouraged others to pick up a pencil or pen and just start drawing and turn it into a healthy and enjoyable hobby.
I have achieved a grade 9 at GCSE level for Art & Design and Design & Technology with an A* predicted at A-level for both.

My teaching method is more fluid, informal and is directed towards what the tutee wishes to improve on. Such things include starting with the basics such as perspective, shading and knowledge of drawing materials and gradually advancing towards proportion, scale, life drawing, free sketching, character creation, artist inspiration etc. I place emphasis on the fact that nobody improves overnight and everyone is still in the process of improving, even myself.
Since how I approach teaching drawing is more skills-based, it allows room for the tutee to apply that knowledge onto their own out-of-lesson drawings.
At the end of every lesson, a small challenge will be set for the tutee to complete. Once returned or shown, I will give constructive criticism on what has been done well and what can be improved upon.
I give lessons to anyone that wants to pick up a new skill, is willing to put the practice in and would like to try something new. Potential tutees which are of primary school age may not know exactly what it is they want to improve on, so those lessons (if they do not know) will be geared towards lax, fun, Monart method activities and 'art for art's sake' activities.

Details
If you wish to cancel a lesson, it must be done no less than 24 hours before the start of the lesson time, otherwise the full price of the lesson must still be paid. This is so that other students who wish to use that time slot may do so at reasonable notice.
