About Chen
Hello! I’m Chen Zi Jian, a dedicated tutor with 3 years of experience in both tuition centers and private tutoring and a lighthearted teaching style. I aim to create an engaging and relaxed learning environment, making learning enjoyable through small jokes and genuine rapport. My focus is on driving students to reach their highest potential, using techniques like active recall and spaced repetition to build strong foundations and drive top scores in exams. I quickly pinpoint areas for improvement, tailoring my approach to each student to deliver fast, effective progress. Over 3 years of experience, lessons are for students in high school, lessons are personalized for students. In the first lesson, able to figure out the student's weaknesses by looking at their exam papers and working on those, allowing for immediate grade improvement in the next major exam. I provide techniques mainly to help students to not only perform well in exams for subjects I teach but also exams across other subjects. Lessons are taught in ways that are catered to the student's personality and learning methods to allow for maximum uptake of information
