About Chelsea
Chelsea Eastep is a licensed Spanish teacher who has been teaching grades k-12 since 2011. She has taught online in both 1:1 and group settings. Chelsea became a Spanish teacher because of her love of learning different languages. She began learning Spanish at a young age through immersion and believes that immersing students in comprehensible and easy to understand language is the best way for students to learn a language quickly and accurately. Chelsea is an intuitive teacher that develops and modifies lesson plans to meet students' needs in order to create a personalized learning experience for every individual.

My teaching method varies by student need with a focus on comprehensible input and output teaching methods. Comprehensible input and output teaches language in context with simple understandable sentences and repetition that expand the students vocabulary and language skills.
Typical lessons include:
Introductory lesson that explores the lesson topic in context
Teacher Guided practice and application of the lesson topic
Independent practice through games or activities with instant feedback for learning
Brief independent assessment with feedback
