About Aurora
Hi! I'm Aurora, and I am a student at Purdue University. I tested out of all high school courses my sophomore year of high school and began to take all college courses (with a few grad and pre-med courses). Essentially I graduated a couple years early and immediately jumped into college. Not only does this show my hard work and determination, it also shows my passion for education and knowledge. I know it can be difficult for many, but I absolutely LOVE teaching others. Sure, I love to learn independently, but I truly believe there is no better way to obtain new knowledge without the help of others, and I love to be that help! Because of my drive to learn and my passion for knowledge, I strive to bring that same joy and passion to others, so you can rest assured that not only do I want to be here to help others learn new or reestablish former concepts, but I am just as enthusiastic to connect and bring the love of learning into every session I hold. I cannot wait to help others see the joy of learning, all while accomplishing a common goal and reigning in those good grades that every driven student deserves!

I am exceptional in biology (undergrad/IB level), chemistry (high school/AP), and mathematics (from basic math to college algebra, trigonometry, and many more). For many years I have been in the top achieving students (when it comes to STEM especially) in America. I have been years ahead in mathematics since elementary where they started me on algebra in the gifted program. I maintain admirable grades, and both excel AND enjoy teaching others how to do not just the basics, but all the way to the most complex mathematics, data analyses, research/experimental design, etc.. My teaching style contains interactive, hands-on, and lecture-based depending what is most helpful to the learner, though I myself always prefer to use more hands-on techniques when working in STEM.

Aurora is quite knowledgeable on many levels. She goes above and beyond not only to make sure you know what you're doing, but how and why it's done. Igraduated with my Masters Degree in 1986. At 63 years old, I am working on a Doctorate Degree. Aurora has taken the time to ensure I understand the concepts behind the answers.
I have grown up with her practically all of my life, and whenever I needed any help, she was my go-to. Sometimes I get nervous about asking my parents, or adults in general to help me with my homework, such as essay writing, science homework, and especially math, out of fear that they might judge me, but I have never had to worry about that with her. The more questions you ask, the more excited she becomes! You can truly see her passion for both education and teaching, and it makes me feel so much better, and even excited about learning new subjects. Sometimes I just go to her not even for homework help, but simply to learn about new concepts that I find myself fascinated by. I never could have asked for a better teacher, and I don't think anyone else should either. Giver her the chance to help you and teach you, and I can promise you will learn something new every session and have a TON of fun in doing so!
I’ve known Aurora for a number of years now, working through numerous AP classes with her. Through that I have seen first hand her teaching abilities, as she has helped our other peers- and myself at times- understand topics in STEM that we otherwise didn’t.
Her debate casework is no different story. You won’t find a more effective tutor to suit your needs!View more recommendations
