About Beatrice

I am a passionate History of Art teacher, Gallery Educator at the National Portrait Gallery and Research Assistant. I genuinely thrive on exploring new topics and connecting with new people, making tutoring an absolute joy for me! I've developed effective techniques specifically to support students with attention difficulties, ADHD or general disorganisation. Drawing from my extensive experience teaching across various prestigious institutions, my approach centres on two core principles: a genuine interest in helping people achieve their absolute best, coupled with a deep love for art history. My academic background includes specialist qualifications in Medieval, Early Modern and Renaissance art, allowing me to offer truly expert guidance in these periods, however I am comfortable teaching any period of Art History.

About the lesson

Sessions with me will always be student-focused, with a goal of empowering you to reach the absolute best of your ability. The atmosphere will be warm, welcoming and encouraging! With a wealth of experience teaching a variety of students, these sessions are easily adaptable to suit your specific learning needs. The sessions will similarly reflect an in-depth understanding of the specific curriculum we are covering. A strong focus on memory techniques and essay strategies for exams or coursework will be emphasised throughout. I have extensive experience teaching the syllabus for A Level History of Art and can also help with undergraduate essays, coursework and advice on your dissertation.
