About Kelly
I am a graduate of the Linguistics program at The University of British Columbia (B.A.), with strong knack for grammar and technical writing. I have three years of peer-tutoring experience behind me, and am passionate about helping youth achieve their academic goals through reading, writing, literature, and more. I am also a dance instructor, and have spent the last several years honing my teaching skills with a handful of wonderful students of all ages.

I can appreciate that the individual learning needs of each student vary dramatically, depending on age, academic goals, personality, and learning style. As a tutor, I like to approach learning with a lighthearted attitude to keep my lessons fun and full of humour. It is my goal to help students of all ages to view their homework assignments as manageable, ease their worries, and build their written English skills.

Because I need to clear my schedule in order to work with you, I require 48 hours notice for any cancellations. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment will incur a fee of $15 (you will not be charged the $25 lesson fee in addition to this, of course!)
