About Christian
I’m a London-based Italian and Spanish speaker with three years of experience as a videographer and two years of experience in broadcast television.
During my Film Studies BA I started building my own kit of camera, lenses, mics and lights, because I wanted to be able to practice and work independently, and that paid off when I was hired by Queen Mary University itself to film its student events and produce content for its Facebook and Instagram social media channels. Soon after graduating I was picked up by Raw TV as a Runner and Junior Researcher on upcoming CNN travelogue series ‘Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy’, assisting in the development, production and post-production of the first six episodes of the programme between 2019 and 2021.
As well as my work at university, I teamed up with my good friend and talented milliner Awon Golding to set up a charity campaign called Haute Dogs Calendar, an initiative that drew together some of the most sought after hat makers in the world to support a different dog charity each year. I filmed and edited on Premiere Pro the promo videos and BTS content for the project’s Indiegogo, Facebook, Youtube and Instagram pages. Haute Dogs Calendar is now in its third year, with more than £40,000 raised in support of various dog charities, and I’m very proud of being a part of such a success story.

I like to interact with my students, and I'm a strong believer in pragmatic approaches to teaching. Especially in the field of cinema, the more you practice the more you understand the craft.
As well as suggesting videos and reading, I like to give micro assignments at the end of each class.
