About Kimberly

I am a very high energy and patient person. I absolutely love to help others around me especially if I know I have the skills to do so. It is important to me to make sure that my students know that I am not here to judge them , I am simply here to help. I also reassure my students on the fact that just because you don’t understand it right away does not mean achieving mastery is out of reach . I was tutored when I was younger and I used to be embarrassed but truthfully those tutoring sessions gave me confidence in asking for help and strong study techniques that I still use till this day.

About the lesson

During my tutoring lessons I believe it’s very important to make my student feel comfortable while in the learning environment! It’s always important to me to make connections with my students so they don’t feel embarrassed or uncomfortable if they don’t understand the material when going over it the first few times. It is very important to me that my students not only leave with a better understanding of the material but a higher confidence level in reference to their curriculum.
