About Molly
Hello!
My name is Molly, I'm 18 and in my final year of A levels studying Politics, Classical Civilisations and English Language and Literature. I will be starting at University of York this year to study Politics and International Relations. Outside of academics, I love acting, going to the theatre, writing, reading and music. I also absolutely love Musicals, Doctor Who, Horror Movies and Reality TV (guilty pleasure, what can I say?)
The reason I am wanting to teach is that I fully appreciate how difficult and stressful exams can be. I'm not the 'perfect student'- no one is, we all struggle and sometimes we need a helping hand. I benefitted hugely from being tutored in year 11 for Maths and Sciences, and I fully believe that my tutor, Alex, was the main reason I passed Maths and Triple Sciences. I truly hope my own hard work can benefit you, and guide you through a very stressful period of your life, in a understanding and low pressure environment which is certainly uncommon during the exam period.

I am hoping to structure my lessons on a student to student basis, working to their individual learning styles and using whatever methods help them best grasp the content. Since I am neurodivergent myself, I am more than happy to work with neurodiverse students and structure lessons to best suit their needs and accommodations, as I know how vital this can be for the best learning environment. I won't just be reading from the textbook- I will use examples and analogies best catered to the student to best help the content stick. I hope to have a professional yet friendly and open dynamic with students, allowing them to be fully open with me on anything they may be struggling with so we work towards resolving the issue together.
