About Susanne
I love tutoring and sharing my experience with students of all ages! I have many years of tutoring experience and have also taught in classrooms. I have also translated for many years, including providing certified translations; therefore I'm good at getting the nuances of words. I have a Master's degree and have provided tutoring to many students and adults of various backgrounds and needs.
I've also discovered that I always learn from my students, too!

I'm enthusiastic about languages, and I share that with my students. That builds their confidence and makes the material more engaging. I do an assessment to find the area(s) where improvement can take place.
My methodology and typical lesson plan is to start with some current material that the student and I will work on together. My technique is to always be encouraging and focus on areas identified as requiring some improvement. My technique also involves tailoring the teaching materials to the students themselves. What sets me apart as a tutor? I am a good listener with a sensitive ear, and can easily help students with their pronunciation and breaking down words forming the basis of foreign-language words. My lessons are for university or junior or high-school levels, SAT prep or even for professionals.
