About Lacey
I am a Chess tutor with more than 20 years of teaching experience and have successfully taught over 1540 students. My passion is helping learners improve concentration, strategic thinking, patience, and problem-solving skills through chess education.
Many students have improved ratings, achieved tournament victories, strengthened analytical reasoning, and developed confidence through my coaching.
My goal is to help every learner become a stronger chess player while enjoying the intellectual challenges and lifelong benefits of the game.

My Chess lessons are designed to help students strengthen strategic thinking, analytical reasoning, and competitive confidence through structured training and practical gameplay. Lessons cover Opening Preparation, Middlegame Planning, Tactical Combinations, Positional Play, Endgame Strategy, Tournament Preparation, Time Management, and Advanced Game Analysis.
Students learn through tactical puzzles, practical games, opening studies, strategic exercises, positional training, and detailed game reviews. Lessons focus on understanding ideas and improving decision-making rather than memorizing moves.
Advanced learners focus on master-level game analysis, advanced endgame theory, tournament preparation, psychological readiness, strategic planning, and performance optimization techniques.
Personalized training plans, performance evaluations, and continuous coaching help learners achieve measurable improvement and long-term competitive success.
